About This Session
Coming from an ITAM background, the challenge of owning and managing AI technology has a great deal of overlap with the principles used in managing Software Licenses. At last year's nullEDGE, I spoke about using Cloud Cost Management (CCM) to gain visibility to AI Spend. In the year since then, AI Control Tower has had a massive leap in maturity and is now the right place for these capabilities and workstreams to live. This session sets aside AI hype and focuses on the real, thoughtful approach to applying ITAM Principles to the technology, the data model, and the activity layer of connecting to data sources and making sound decisions on investment. Attendees will come away with: A clear definition of why AI is an Asset, a strong understanding of the AI Asset Data Model, and some practical steps to evaluate and achieve an AI Connection to work with ServiceNow AI Control Tower.
