ServiceNow does not provide an out-of-the-box e-signature capability for Service Catalog items, yet many business processes require signed acknowledgements at request time. In this session, I’ll walk through a practical and reusable approach to implementing an e-signature (signature pad) within a ServiceNow catalog item using Service Portal, HTML Canvas, and Flow Designer—without relying on third-party integrations. Attendees will learn how to capture a user’s signature, store it securely as Base64 data, convert it into an image, and automatically attach it to the RITM for audit and compliance purposes. This session is ideal for developers and architects looking to extend ServiceNow’s capabilities with lightweight, user-friendly solutions that work seamlessly within the platform.
